Who we are
BGC Legal ("the firm", "we") is a law firm with offices at the 36th Floor Penthouse, Eco Tower, 9th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City, 1634 Metro Manila, Philippines. For the purposes of the Data Privacy Act of 2012, the firm is the personal information controller of the data described in this notice.
What we collect, and why
When you use the appointment form on our website, we collect:
- Your name, phone number and email address — so we can reply and confirm your appointment;
- The area of law and a brief description of your matter — so the right attorney reads your request;
- Your preferred date — so we can offer you a workable time.
We use this information for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry and arrange a consultation. We do not sell it, rent it, use it for marketing lists, or share it with anyone outside the firm except the service providers described below.
Please keep the form brief and general. Detailed or sensitive information about your matter belongs in the consultation itself, where it is protected by attorney–client confidentiality.
Who processes it on our behalf
- Form delivery. Our appointment form is delivered through Formspree, Inc., a form-processing service whose servers may be located outside the Philippines. Formspree transmits your submission to us and is bound by its own privacy policy.
- Map. The office map on our site is embedded from Google Maps. Loading it may cause Google to set cookies or collect usage data under Google's privacy policy.
- Fonts. Our typefaces are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the font files load.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. The only cookies that may appear come from the embedded Google Map, as described above. Because we set no cookies ourselves, we do not display a cookie consent banner; Philippine law does not currently require one.
How long we keep it
Form submissions are kept only as long as needed to handle your inquiry. If you become a client, your information is kept as part of your engagement file under the retention rules that govern law practice. If you do not, we delete your submission within a reasonable period, generally no more than twelve months.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the right to:
- be informed about how your personal data is processed;
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct any inaccuracy in it;
- object to processing, or withdraw consent, at any time;
- request erasure or blocking of data that is no longer necessary;
- lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph); and
- be indemnified for damages caused by unlawful processing.

Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and its "last updated" date. Nothing here reduces any right you hold under Philippine law.
